Magpie is a modern British restaurant tucked away on Heddon Street, behind Regent Street.
Coming from the team behind Hackney's Pidgin, we call our food 'modern European' which basically means nothing and everything at the same time. Dishes aren't rooted in any particular cuisine but instead focus on great ingredients combined to make something that is above all delicious but that also contains some element of surprise - whether that's Jerusalem artichoke with a ranch butter sauce and avruga caviar, steak tartare with truffle crisps and taleggio or oysters with apple and chilli crisp.
Our wine list includes one of the largest selection of wines on tap in London, as well as a small list of wines by the bottle, all from independent and independently minded producers.
Cocktails are potent and fun and include a szechuan pepper oil negroni and a kombu-infused martini.
